Mui Ne to Saigon

Leaving Mui Ne

July 13, 2005

Today we woke up around 9:00 am to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. Of course our last day here the sun decided to shine. We took off right away for a nice hour long walk down the beach collecting sea shells. After our walk we swam for about a half hour in front of our bungalow. After the swim we showered and packed up just in time to make our 11:00 am check out time. The bus didn’t leave for Saigon until 2:00 pm so we left our bags at the hotel and grabbed a meal down the street. After that we went to the Internet café to check our emails and see if any of you have signed our guest book. We really enjoy seeing new entries in our guest book so keep them coming. I think M Kaiser has the honor of the most entries so far.

Our 4 hour bus ride to Saigon was uneventful. We found a room fairly quickly, 6 floors up of course with no elevator. All the buildings in Vietnam are very narrow, but built very high. Real estate is expensive here so they have to build up. Our guest house included free internet so I stayed up until 2:00 am updating our website with new photos and cleaning up some of the old grainy photos. I also wrote some code, so we could add captions to every photo. I hope you enjoy this new feature.
