Free museum day

September 19, 2007

All things considered from my foot fiasco yesterday I decided to take it easy today. Since most of the museums are free on Wednesday I thought it made perfect sense to check out the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The Chinese Antiquities Gallery on the third floor was decidedly my favorite collection and there were a large number of various vases and pottery that were truly magnificent and painstakingly preserved. Since the Fine Art and Chinese Painting collections didn't hold much of my attention my time at the museum was fairly quick. From there I checked out a few shops and called it an easy day. Running in the hotel pool became my exercise later that night as I found myself a bit restless while Craig continued to work long hours for his company's grand opening.
